1. Always Vacuum

Lets face it, there is no complete way we can keep dirt and dust from falling onto our carpet but there is a way to get it out...by vacuuming. We recommend to vacuum your carpet at least 2-3 times a week. The vacuum itself doesn't matter as long as it works and the collecting bag inside is empty. Empty the bag out after each cleaning in order to get the best performance out of your vacuum. For high traffic areas (areas where people walk over frequently),  pass over the vacuum about 5 times. For other areas, 2-3 times should do the trick.

2. No Shoes!

The best way to keep a carpet looking new is by leaving all of the bad stuff outside. Walking around the house with shoes on can cause the carpet to wear out and even change its color. It is better to take your shoes off before walking on carpet. Adding a rug over the carpet will protect the carpet from getting damaged.
