Do Not Ignore Leaks!

Not repairing even the smallest leak can lead to a disaster. Long-term leakage can cause mildew, mold, rotting, and even the destruction of a structure in your home. No leak is too small so act quickly to avoid further damage and money loss.

Clean Your Gutters

It is recommended to clean your gutters at least twice a year, for this avoids blockage and ice dams. When water is sitting in one place, it can cause damage to your gutters and roof. Also, the overflow of water may create puddles that can damage your foundation.

Water Pressure

The usual PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) for residential water systems is from 40 to 70. You can purchase a water pressure gage from a hardware store. Go outside and attach it to a faucet then turn the faucet to full force. If the PSI is set over 100 PSI, pipes and hoses may break because of the excessive pressure. A pressure regulator can also be purchased at a hardware store.
